Kumiko's p.o.v-
I haven't been to school since I was thirteen. You see, when I was younger I lived in Osaka, Japan. I was in a grade-A school, with great friends, and my parents were always with me. I was a spoiled little princess in a quiet small countryside. But over time, my parents got better business jobs, and they eventually had to move. When I moved, I left everything. My hometown, my dear friends . . . everything. When we moved to Tokyo, Japan, my parents didn't spend anymore time with me. It was like I never existed. I didn't enroll back into a school. Instead, I did one of those "online school programs". I graduated after three 1/2 boring years. For the last year, I've been wondering what to do now? I'm to young to go to college, and there's no way I'm starting my life with working at McDonalds! But then I got interested in Kishiko's school. I texted her and she immediately gave me an application. Yetserday, I finally got the chance to ask my parents to go to the school and they said yes before I could even ask the question. So I filled it out and now all I have to do is wait.
A WEEK LATER: I was watching tv in my living room. Spongebob was on and I was bored. I curled up into my big furry blanket in an attempt to warm my cold feet. Smokey came into the room, and hopped onto my lap. Smokey was my small, but very fat cat. He had gray colored fur ( which is why I named him "smokey") and had a very snooty attitude. He hates strangers but absolutely adores Melinda and I. He opened his big green eyes, rubbed his head on my stomache and started to purr. After a while, I started to look out the window above the other white couch. It was morning and the sky was clear with no clouds in sight. Smokey hissed at my phone in my pocket. It was vibrating. Kishiko was calling me AGAIN! She has been calling me 24/7 ever since I told her that I sent the application.
"Hello?"
"Hey, did you get your mail yet?" she asked. "FOR THE LAST TIME, NO!" I yelled. There was a slight pause, then she sighed "Jeez, ok sorry. It's just that you know I want you in my school so bad." >__< I sighed. "Yeah, sorry, I was a little harsh..." I muttered. After a while from talking someone screamed. "KUMIKO! The peoplez sended you something!!" screamed Melinda. She ran down the front hall in her pajamas - she was all out of breath. I squealed. "Kishiko, I got the letter from the peoplez!" :3 I yelled into the phone.She was squealing on the other end. Melinda gave me the letter. I quickly opened the letter and began to read the paper aloud. "Dear Kumiko Iwate, thank you for sending us your application. We think you would be a wonderful student and we will gladly accept you!! We hope to see you in school by August 27. Sincerely, The Creative Arts Academy!"
All three of us were screaming and dancing like girls. "I'm so proud of you, Kumiko!" Melinda yelled. "Thanks! Well, I'm gonna go and get ready!" I said the same thing to kishiko after Melinda left the room. "Okay, call me later, kay?" :3 she said. After nine hours or so, I got into my silk pajamas. After I was done, I walked across my room and pulled back the semi-see through white curtans. It was dark out. The moon shined bright and there were a few stars out tonight. I opened the glass sliding doors and walked out onto my balcony. My room was on the second floor so you could see almost the whole city from up here. I rested my hands on the balcony's rail and sighed. I couldn't stop wondering what was going to happen tomorrow at school. Would I make a complete fool of myself there? What would the students think of me? I looked back up at the city buildings. Some dogs started to howl and a few cats pushed over some trash cans across the street. I haven't been to school in so long, I forget what school is like. I breathed in and out. I'm so nervous. After a while, I walked back inside and slipped into my bed. Eventually I closed my eyes and went into a not-so-peaceful sleep.
